Student Life Holmes Junior HighAn All School Dance will be held on March 31st 7:00-9:30 in the New Gym. The theme is Hawaiian and tickets will be $4 in advance or $5 at the door. Ticket sales will begin the week of March 27th. There will be fun activities and games! Students must be in good academic standing and have no violations of the Good Conduct policy to attend the dance.
Yoga will be on the pool deck on Tuesday. No sign up but make sure to sign out with your TT teacher.
A group of students with the Cedar Falls High CAPS program will be running a Teddy Bear Drive. It will be held March 24th-April 12th. They are collecting new or slightly used, clean stuffed animals, in the 3-12 in size frame. Peoples Community Health Clinic gives these stuffed animals to children getting invasive or scary procedures to help give them comfort. There will be a box in the front office to place your items.
Science Club will meet after school every day this week in Mr. Duff's room in preparation for the Iowa Science Olympiad.. See Mr. Duff or Mrs. Johnson with questions.
Any 7th or 8th grader interested in cheerleading for the 2023-2024 school year should sign up using the link posted in schoology. There will be a mandatory student/parent meeting May 12th at 6pm in the Holmes cafeteria. 23-24 Fall Cheer Sign Ups
Join us for the VARIETY SHOW WATCH PARTY from 3:00-5:00 in the cafeteria on Tuesday, March 28. This event is for Variety Show participants ONLY - no other guests please.
