Student Life Holmes Junior HighToday we are going to talk about Beverly Bond ….2/25 - Beverly Bond is an American businesswoman and model who has assisted with campaigns for Nike. She has also excelled as a DJ – she has worked as the official DJ for artists such as Erykah Badu and The Roots. In 2006, she created an organization called Black Girls Rock! which provides mentorship opportunities for Black girls and promotes self-worth and empowerment for young women.
We officially have THREE state qualifiers for MathCounts!
Helen Peng, James Peng, and Ahan Tandon will take their talents to the state competition. Congratulations to these three students...with a VERY honorable mention to our other mathletes who performed highly as well!
Attention high school softball players:
Announcement no. 1
High school pitchers and catchers will meet Monday mornings at Peet Jr. High from 7:45 -8:45 beginning March 7 for grades 8-12. Each pitcher is responsible for having a catcher. Bring a glove & tennis shoes.
Announcement no. 2
The CF Softball coaches will open the indoor hitting facility on M & W beginning on March 7. Mondays will open 4:30-6:30 and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00. Bring tennis shoes, helmet & bat. The facility is located at Robinson-Dresser Park.
