Today we are going to talk about Nipsey Hussle…..2/16 - Nipsey Hussle was a Grammy Award winning rapper, an entrepreneur, and an American activist. Hussle was born in South Central Los Angeles, where he joined gangs as a way to survive his tough social and economic circumstances. When he found success in the music industry as a rapper, he focused on giving solutions and inspiration to young Black men like him. He spoke openly about his experiences in gang culture and denounced gun violence through his music and community work. In 2019, Hussle was shot and killed one day before he was to meet with the Los Angeles Police Department to address gang violence in his community of South Central LA.
