Student Life Holmes Junior HighThe Fall CF Ambush Esports season is coming up on September 20th. We will be competing in 5 different games this year. We are looking for 9th grade students who are interested in competing and also supporting the teams through streaming and on the technical side. Fill out the Fall interest form on the CF Ambush extra-curricular website if you are interested. There will be a parent meeting on September 13th at the HS for more information.
The FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics teams are open to students in grades 7-9. Teams are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete against other teams. Students interested in being on a Cedar Falls FTC team need to complete an application by September 7. The application is found at https://bit.ly/3tqWxOx
There will be no Computer Science Club or Girls Who Code this week due to Tiger Talks.
Calling all writers! If you've got a plot, we've got a story! Meet in Mrs. Benitez's room 4 during Tiger Time Tuesdays for "Universal Club for Creative Writers." Our club is student-led and we will practice our writing skills with short stories, scary stories, poems, narratives, make our own book covers, and even learn ways to publish your work!
