Student Life Holmes Junior HighStudents who are planning on attending the football game at the UNI Dome tonight,, should bring their student ID with them. The pass gate for Booster Club passes and Activity Tickets is located at the Southwest entrance. All junior high students are expected to be seated in the Northwest corner of the UNI Dome or with their parents throughout the game.
The Fall CF Ambush Esports season is coming up on September 20th. We will be competing in 5 different games this year. We are looking for 9th grade students who are interested in competing and also supporting the teams through streaming and on the technical side. Fill out the Fall interest form on the CF Ambush extra-curricular website if you are interested. There will be a parent meeting on September 13th at the HS for more information.
Congrats to Cedar Falls freshman football team on a 35-0 team win over Waterloo West last night. Huge shoutout and thank you to all the students who came and supported, our team appreciates it and saw you all there. Go Tigers.
If you are interested in flying this activity might be for you. This Saturday, September 4th there is an opportunity for all students to receive a free flight at the Waverly Airport. Attendees would be able to attend a free 20-minute flight, and a free code to an online course worth over $150 worth of textbooks if interested in becoming a pilot. If not, students may also just come along for the ride and take a view from above.
Flying times are from 8am to 12pm and students are asked to show up at the Waverly Municipal Airport during those times.
