Good Morning, Today is Thursday, February 27th and it is a B day
9th grade girls Interested in playing women's soccer this spring, should attend a Player and Parent information meeting on March 9th in the high school cafeteria at 6:00pm. Please plan ahead this is a required event. Contact Coach Place with questions <alexplace4@gmail.com>.
Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys - There will be an informational meeting about the upcoming track season on Wednesday, March 4th, at 7:45 in the Old Gym. We will cover information about the upcoming season. Be sure to sign up on one of the sign up sheets in the boys PE locker room, outside the cafeteria, in Coach Rottinghaus' room, or in the English and Social Studies hallway. Variety Show performances are at 7 PM this Friday and Saturday nights. Holmes students get free tickets! Stop by the bookkeeper to claim your ticket and check out a great show.
No FCA this Friday due to professional development for teachers.
We switched our FCA Outreach to this coming Monday March 2nd starting right after school. You can meet in the locker rooms. You can get more information or permission forms from Coach Peters or Coach Greiner

On to State for our Women’s Basketball team!
We will play Waterloo West at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Monday, March 2. Game time is
3:15 pm. Students may leave school at noon.
If you plan to attend here are some things you may want to know;
*9th grade students - Have a parent fill out the form that is emailed to your parent’s email address. This will excuse you from 4th hour through 7 th hour on Monday and any days they play
*A Pep Bus will be offered for 9th-12th graders. It will leave CFHS at 12:30 pm on Monday. Sign up at the CFHS
website under Athletics. We need to have 35 students signed up in order for the Pep Bus to go.
Cost is $6.00. The Pep Bus will not stop for food going down or returning. If you ride down on
the Pep Bus, you must ride the Pep Bus home.
* You will need to purchase your game ticket at Wells Fargo. Cost is $10.00
*With a win on Monday we will play again on Thursday, March 5 at 11:45 am. Parents can sign
you up on the form that is emailed to them
.
* State Women’s Basketball t-shirts will be available to order and purchase. Deadline is Friday,
Feb 28 at 3:00 pm. Payment must be made in order for your shirt to be ordered. There is no
school on Friday but secretaries will be in the office so that you can pay .
