Student Life Holmes Junior HighWant to send some Warm Wishes to friends and family this holiday season? Student Council's annual Candy Cane Sale runs through Friday, December 13. Candy Canes are $1 or $10 for a dozen. All proceeds go to Holmes Canes for a Cause which supports Holmes families.
7th grade boys. Anyone interested in playing basketball should sign up outside Coach Moeller's room #38. Practice will start Jan 2 after school.
Variety Show auditions are next week! Sign up for your time slot on the sheets posted outside the choir room. All are welcome to audition!
Any 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball this year will need to meet in the new gym today during Tiger Time for an informational meeting.. Please bring your chromebook. If you cannot attend please email Mr. Becker for information.

Join our Battle of the Books team and read high quality literature while indulging your competitive side……
Our team will meet on Fridays in Mrs. McCabe’s room (Room 7) to practice and prepare for our preliminary rounds in March.
If we make it past the preliminary rounds, we will be invited to the statewide competition on April 22nd, 2020 in Marshalltown, Iowa.
But a lot has to happen between now and then…… we have to read, read, read………discuss, discuss, discuss, all while enjoying award winning literature for teens and young adults!
Attend an informational meeting on Friday, December 13th in Mrs. McCabe’s room during Tiger Time to get all of your questions answered!
There will be a Student Council meeting today during Tiger Time in the FCS kitchen.
Reminder for those of you on the Yearbook staff. Shirt orders need to be filled out by Friday. The order form can be found on Schoology. Money for the shirts can be turned in to Mrs. Adams or Mrs. Klammer by the end of the day on Friday.
