Student Life Holmes Junior HighState Volleyball t-shirts are available to purchase on the high schools website. The cost is $10 and the deadline to order and pay is 3:30pm today.
There will be a pep bus being offered for state volleyball next week. This is open to 9th graders only. You will need to sign up on the link on the high schools website and your parents will need to sign up on the separate permission form. You must have both forms filled out. The cost is $6 to ride the bus and you will pay your $10 into the game when you get there. The bus will leave Holmes around 10am Tuesday morning and you will return to school after the game.
The semi final match of Men's Volleyball will be played today during Tiger Time. Teams 6 and 7 will be requested and be allowed in the gym.
Science Friday will meet today for a special Thursday edition. For the next 4 showings, we will be watching the film, "Hidden Figures" about three pioneering women who worked at NASA as engineers and mathematicians during the space race. Meet in Room 14 during Tiger Time.
Cooking Club will be held next Tuesday after school. Please note that it is on Tuesday next week. If would like to join us after school on Tuesday, please send an email to Mrs. Knox so that she can plan accordingly.
Men's Volleyball will wrap up their semi-final game today during Tiger Time. Teams 2, 7, and 4 will be requested. We will meet in the new gym. The championship game will be played next Wednesday during Tiger Time.
Attention all 9th graders: Want to learn more about an exciting opportunity to read lots of poetry and practice your recitation skills? We'll choose poems to practice and prepare for a local competition coming up in December! Come to Room 7 today during Tiger Time for an informational meeting.
