This week we recognize Red Ribbon Week. The 2019 theme is Send a Message. Stay Drug Free. The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. The theme is also a reminder that by staying drug free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community and your future.

Red Ribbon Week is in honor of Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena In 1985, Agent Camarena was killed after working undercover in Guadalajara, Mexico.. His efforts led to a tip that resulted in the discovery of a multimillion dollar narcotics manufacturing operation in Chihuahua, Mexico..

Reminder that the full 9th grade choir is rehearsing during 2nd hour today and 7th/8th grade treble choir is rehearsing during 7th hour. 9th graders report to the choir room, and 7th and 8th graders report to the new gym.
