Student Life Holmes Junior High

Band students: Today is Day Six for band lessons.

Do you enjoy photography, graphic design, and/ or interviewing? Do you have a creative side? Join us Wednesdays during Tiger Time to help with creating this year’s yearbook for Holmes Junior High. Meet in Mrs. Adam’s room (room 17).

Junior Wildlife Society will have their first meeting of the year today during Tiger Time. Wear walking shoes and be prepared to go outside. Meet in Room 14.

Want to search for treasure in a dungeon? Or fight a dragon? The fantasy role-playing game club will be meeting in room 15 on Thursday afternoons from 3-5 PM, starting this week. Email or come see Mr. Prouty in the Makerspace if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the 7th grade football team on their victory over Bunger 42-12. Big plays, tough defense and a complete team effort helped guide the team to the win. Come cheer the team on next Tuesday as they host the Carver Bulldogs.

Just reminder, if you are assigned to PM ALT, you should report to Rm 1 after school gets out.

Please be checking the lost and found.  We have: lunch boxes, pencil boxes, trapper keeper and clothing.

Elections for the Holmes Junior High Student Council Officers will be held tomorrow September 14. A link will be shared with you through Schoology during Tiger Time. The ballot will remain open through 4th Period for students that are at the high school. The results will be announced at the end of the day. Please vote for the candidate that you think will best uphold the responsibilities of the office, act with good character, and be a positive leader for our school.
