Student Life Holmes Junior High

Holmes Junior High will be participating in Furries 4 Fosters for the next two weeks. This great project was started by Holmes Junior High's very own Aaliyah Tournier. There is a high need for new blankets for foster children of all ages. Stuffed animals, blankets, and monetary donations will be accepted. All donations stay in our area. Please bring items to the front office. Thank you.

The Holmes Tiger 7th grade girls basketball team finished the week with a win and a tie at St. Pat's on Friday. The opening contest saw the Holmes White team get off to a great first quarter start. A commanding Tiger halftime lead was cut into by St. Pat's in the second half, but Holmes was able to hang on for the 19-17 victory. The second game saw a see-saw affair and the Tigers were able to get key buckets down the stretch to force a 6-6 tie once the final whistle blew. The Tigers will next be in action on Thursday at Hoover.
