Student Life Cedar Falls High SchoolAnnouncements: Monday, October 12, 2026 B Day
Good morning, Tigers!
There is no detention after school today in room 801 because of a staff meeting.
Listen up Tiger Pals -- our next meeting is THIS Wednesday and it's a BIG one! You'll get your Lil Pal match and get ready for your first meeting! Make sure you are there! See Mrs. Megan Droste for questions.
CFHS is looking to start a competitive debate team! Please fill out the form posted on your class Schoology page if you are interested or email cfdebateteam@gmail.com with any questions.
Do you feel strongly about topics? Or do you just want a place to state your opinions? Join Isaiah Martin and Amina Rechkemmer for Informal Debate Club starting on Thursday, October 15 during Tiger Time in room 613 - the study room next to the library. All grades and open minds are welcome.
Students, as you register for your RTI sessions today, don't forget to check PowerSchool first so you know which classes to prioritize. Be sure to check out your course calendars for any upcoming tests and deadlines and have these in mind as you make your selections this week. Remember to prioritize getting support in your classes before signing up for study halls or clubs and enrichments. Remember to make your selections by 3:00 today to avoid auto-enroll. If your plans change throughout the week, you can always speak to a teacher about getting into a different session.
Reminders:
Join the Junior Leadership Team in raising money for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank by signing up for or coming to our wiffle ball tournament on Wednesday. We are accepting 6 teams of 6 for the competition, but anyone (with good grades) can come watch! Sign up on Schoology today! $2 per player, $1 per viewer. Pay Ms. Steffy in the office and make sure to sign up in RTI next Wednesday.
