Good morning, Tigers!
A representative from Kirkwood Community College will be here today and a representative from Johns Hopkins University will be here tomorrow (Thursday.) If you are interested in learning more about these colleges, please sign up on Schoology.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: the UNI College Fair is taking place on Tuesday, September 15 from 9-11 am. There will be over 75 colleges, universities and military organizations attending. If you are interested in going, please sign up on Schoology by the end of the day on Friday.
The link to sign up for your Homecoming dance ticket is available on Schoology. Cost is $5.00. Tickets will be available before and after school in the main office and during 4th hour in the commons. Deadline to purchase your Homecoming dance ticket is tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
Reminders:
Please remember that you can only attend the Homecoming Dance if you have zero detentions. Please email Mrs. Patterson or your associate principal to see what your balance is if you are unsure. Those who know you have detentions to make up, please fill out the detention form and then email your associate principal to set up a detention plan meeting. There will be no special circumstances to make up detentions faster except what is listed on our detention make up policy. If you have a large number of detentions from last year, you may not be able to make them all up in time. Please attend every class and be on time!
Heads Up Tiger Pals! Our first information meeting will be moved to Sept 16th during Tiger Time in room 1502 during Tiger Time. Tiger Pals is a peer mentoring program for 11th and 12th graders to mentor an elementary age student once a week during their release, Monday morning before school or after school time. It's a great way to make a positive difference in a little's life -- your commitment is required to do so. If you have been a part of Tiger Pals in the past or are curious about this Big/Lil peer mentoring program - come by to learn more!
