Seniors - You can now vote for your 2026 Homecoming Court. Voting will be open on Schoology today and tomorrow. You must use your Cedar Falls email to vote.
Fall Play Auditions for The Single Man will take place in the theater on Tuesday, Sept 1st from 3:05 - 4:45. Please make sure that you complete and fill out an audition form before you come to auditions. All information and forms can be found in CFHS Drama group on Schoology. See Ms. Rathe or Mr. Drinovsky if you have any additional questions.
Are you interested in politics, economics, social issues, science or technology? Join the Cedar Falls High School Model United Nations team and participate in conferences across the state of Iowa. The Model UN team will meet during Tiger Time the next two Wednesdays in room 1735 to discuss the quickly approaching fall conference. If you can't make the meeting but want to join or learn more, email Mrs. Bettle for details!
The Fall Esports Season is fast approaching. If you are interested in competing against other High School teams from across the country in some of the most popular video games, check out the update within Schoology for more information and how to sign up before September 3rd.
If you are interested in competing on the Science Olympiad or Science Bowl teams, come to Mrs. Sliwinski's room, 1732 in blue, at Tiger Time tomorrow or Thursday to learn more about it. Be sure to sign up for it on the RTI scheduler today.
Interested in joining the CFHS Creative Writing Club? Join us for our inaugural meeting on Wednesday, September 2nd during Tiger Time in room 715 in the grey learning community. We will have weekly meetings during Tiger Time Wednesdays and after school on Thursdays. Contact Mr. Klemesrud with any questions you may have.
Homecoming t-shirts are now on sale! Cost is $15.00. Please see the link on Schoology to order and pay for your t-shirt. Deadline to purchase a t-shirt is this Friday, September 4 at 12:00pm.
The link to sign up for your Homecoming dance ticket is also available on Schoology. Cost is $5.00. Starting tomorrow, tickets will be available before and after school in the main office. Next week, tickets will be available before and after school in the main office and during 4th hour in the commons. Deadline to purchase your Homecoming dance ticket is Thursday, September 10 at 12:30pm.
Reminder: Please remember that you can only attend the Homecoming Dance if you have zero detentions. Please email Mrs. Patterson or your associate principal to see what your balance is if you are unsure. Those who know you have detentions to make up, please fill out the detention form and then email your associate principal to set up a detention plan meeting. There will be no special circumstances to make up detentions faster except what is listed on our detention make up policy. If you have a large number of detentions from last year, you may not be able to make them all up in time. Please attend every class and be on time!
