Student Life Cedar Falls High School

Announcements: Wednesday, January 14, 2026  B Day

Good morning, Tigers!

Calling all travelers! If you are interested in going to England, France, Belgium, and Germany to explore cultural sights and dive into the history of World War II, see Mr. Engdahl about RSVPing for the informational meeting that will be held in the Commons at 7:00pm on Wednesday night.

Students: Please take a few minutes to review your 2nd semester schedule in PowerSchool. Some adjustments were made to help balance class sizes, including study halls. Because schedules may continue to update, please check PowerSchool daily during the first week of the semester and avoid relying on screenshots. If you believe a correction is needed, schedule requests can be submitted through the end of the day on Thursday, January 22. Thank you for your attention to this and for your flexibility as we begin the new semester.- CFHS Counseling Office

Attention Juniors and Seniors- Please remember to have all detentions served by the end of the day tomorrow in order to keep your release.

Students and Staff, did any of you set a goal for 2026 to reduce your screen time? Well, one way to do this is by reading actual books in print! The CFHS Library Student Advisory Board is making this fun and easy for you.  Pick up a reading BINGO card in the library and set a semester reading goal.  Earn a BINGO and win a prize. It's THAT easy!

The Spring Esports Season is coming up in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in competing against other High School teams from across the country in some of the most popular video games, details are posted within Schoology for more information and how to sign up before January 22nd.

Today’s Tiger Pride commitment focus is the letter “G.” Greet someone when they greet you and respond when someone greets you.

Follow the Tigers:

The JV and Varsity Girls and Boys Wrestling Teams will travel to Cedar Rapids Jefferson tonight-matches begin at 6 pm.

Have a great day and GO TIGERS!
