Student Life Cedar Falls High School

Announcements: Thursday, November 20, 2025

It is an A day.

Good morning, Tigers!

Calling all artists and makers! Want to dive into the world of graphic design, photography, animation, and so much more? The Kansas City Art Institute is coming to you! A KCAI representative will be here TOMORROW during Tiger Time in room 1505 to share all the exciting programs and opportunities they offer. Don’t miss out. Sign up through the link in Schoology.

Spanish Club will be meeting today during Tiger Time in Senora Vrioni's room, room 1840. We will have two speakers from Iowa who are now teaching English in Spain. Make sure to email your tiger time teacher and Senora Vrioni to attend!

Students interested in being on the baseball team should plan to attend the team baseball meeting today in the Jungle during Tiger Time.

Today’s Tiger Pride Commitment focus is the letter “E.” Extend at least one genuine compliment each day.

REMINDERS:

Join the astronomy club this Friday for an epic evening under the stars as we watch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! We'll have astronomy trivia starting at 6:30, and the movie will start at 7:00 on the learning stairs. The front doors will lock at 7! Popcorn, hot chocolate, and crafts will be available for $5 so bring your cash, your friends, family, blankets, and your best Star-Lord energy!

Interested in some Tiger apparel? "319 Supply" has launched its very own student-run business and is inviting you to be a part of it! 319 Supply is offering a women's and men’s quarter zip, a men's polo, a tote bag, a graphic t-shirt, and a koozie. Every purchase you make helps those students gain enough to give back to charity. Reach out to Mr. Girling’s entrepreneurship class to purchase. Cards, cash, and checks are accepted. The deadline to order is tomorrow.

Students parked in the staff parking lots, Service Vehicles Only Areas or Visitors Parking will be assessed a $25.00 fine. Improperly parked vehicles, including those parked in yellow “No Parking” areas as well as on yellow lines and/or along curbs, may also be assessed a $25.00 fine. There is a $100 fine for anyone illegally parking in a Handicap Parking space.

Follow the Tigers:

The Junior Varsity and Varsity Girls Bowling Team will compete against Iowa City West today at Maple Lanes beginning at 3:45.

Have a great day and GO TIGERS!
