All students taking a Hawkeye Community College course semester 2 are required to attend a registration session during Tiger Time in the Auditorium. Last names beginning with A-L will meet on Thursday, November 6th and last names beginning with M-Z will meet on Friday, November 7th. You will need your chromebook.
November bus passes are now available for purchase on the Tiger Web Store or from Mrs. Steffy in the main office.
Seniors, today is exactly three weeks from your Tuesday, Nov. 25 deadline for emailing your senior picture to Mr. Winkel for the yearbook. Remember, no hats or props in your portrait picture, and if you miss the Nov. 25 deadline, the yearbook will run your junior year picture.
Students, would you like to be a part of a brand new student-run Book Club at Cedar Falls High School? Come this Thursday to our first meeting in the library during Tiger Time! This month's read is the classic The Great Gatsby! Maybe you've already read it; maybe you WISH you could read it but can't fit American Lit into your schedule; MAYBE you've never heard of it but would love to try a classic! Or MAYBE, you just want to be a part of a community of readers in a judgment-free zone! Oh, did we say there will be treats? Come check us out this Thursday!
Attention Seniors: If you are signing a Letter of Intent to participate in Division I or Division II athletics, please stop by the Activities Office to pick up a form for Signing Day. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 12th, during Tiger Time.
Do you hear the people sing? Come sing with them! Auditions for the spring musical, Les Miserables, are taking place next week, November 10, 11, and 12. See the post on your class page or join the CFHS Drama group on Schoology to check out audition details and sign up! Ask Mr. Kranz, Ms. Rathe, or Ms. Magill any questions.
