Once again this year, the Iowa State Bar Association is offering the KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION contest for Iowa high school students. This annual quiz and essay format asks participants to test and apply their knowledge of our nation’s constitution. The program consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and an essay prompt (all open-book). Finalists are selected from each Iowa house district and finalists in the past have been entered into a drawing to win a scholarship. Interested students should see their social studies teacher, or Mrs. Walsh in room 1814. Final submissions are due by the end of the day on Monday, December 1st.
We missed you at the CFHS Men's Swim Team meeting on Monday! Get all the information you missed during our Tiger Time meeting on Thursday, September 25 in Room 0829. All swimming backgrounds welcome. Come be a part of the first year of our new pool.
Seniors: Come to the football field this Friday morning for Senior Sunrise. Please arrive by 6:30am to enjoy watching the sunrise together. Bring your own breakfast or one to share!
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be meeting today during Tiger Time in the gym. Come join us for fellowship, encouragement, and community. Everyone is welcome—bring a friend and we’ll see you there!
DECA will be meeting this Thursday in room 1706. We need to discuss the upcoming Fall Leadership Conference.
DECA will be selling ICON donuts Friday morning before 1st period.
Attention: the Wargames club has recently undergone a transformation. We are now Table Top club and will meet after school in the library on Wednesdays. We play all kinds of games, board games, card games, tabletop Wargames, and many others. We have games like Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40k, Trench Crusade, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and many others. We encourage people to bring whatever games they want to play, teach, or learn! So if you're interested, stop by the library after school on Wednesdays.
