SENIORS: The Senior Breakfast is a long standing tradition at CFHS. It will take place on Friday, May 23 at Nazareth Church from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and is sponsored by the CF Foundation, your Alumni Association. This group will purchase your breakfast if you fill out the form to become a part of their database for future contact. If you use a personal G-mail you will receive a confirmation email that will serve as your ticket for the breakfast. You can access this form ON SCHOOLOGY. It is posted to the calendar and is in the updates. Please CONTACT MRS. CUVELIER if you would like to attend the breakfast, but do not want to share information for the Alumni Association. Immediately following the breakfast will be graduation rehearsal at the McLeod Center.
Seniors! Please send photos or videos from your favorite memories of this past year to this address: cfhs.seniors25@gmail.com. This is on your Schoology page as well. Offer your memories with your classmates for a HIGHLIGHT REEL!
Please remember to bring your redeemable cans and bottles to the high school parking lot this Saturday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm to help your high school Robotics Team, 525 Swartdogs, to raise funds. Get the recycling out of your garage, help the planet, and support the team!
Follow the Tigers: Varsity girls' and boys' Track and Field will be competing at the Drake Relays today; JV girls' and boys' Track and Field co-ed Invitational meet will begin at 4:30 pm at Waverly Shell Rock High School; JV-1 girls' Soccer will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 6:45 pm at CFHS; JV-1 boys' Soccer will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 6:45 pm at Cedar Rapids Xavier High School.
REMINDERS: Students: 16 school days are left to become eligible to attend prom and participate in graduation. Detentions need to be served and Power School fines and fees need to be paid by May 15 at 12:30 pm. See your Associate Principal as soon as possible if you need help making a plan! Prom Ticket Sign Up Form has been emailed to all Junior/Senior student email accounts and tickets will go on sale Monday, April 28 before and after school in the main office. The deadline to sign up and purchase tickets is Thursday, May 15 by 12:30 pm.
Juniors and Seniors: do you plan to bring a guest to prom who is NOT a student at CFHS, or is a CFHS sophomore? Then you need to fill out a guest form. These can be picked up in the Attendance office. They are due back in the Attendance Office no later than Thursday, May 15 by 12:30 pm. Do not wait until the last minute to take care of this!
