Please join us for Signing Day in the gym on Wednesday, February 5th during Tiger Time. All are welcome to come and celebrate these athletes.
February bus passes are now available for purchase from Mrs. Steffy in the main office.
Attention students, the Wargames club would like to announce we will be adding miniature painting to the club activities. Painting miniatures is a big part of the game hobby and we are offering a time to try out the more artistic part of the hobby. Paints will be provided for those just wanting to try it out, or you can bring your own! We will also provide some beginner models that you may keep. So please join us on Wednesdays after school in the library. If you're interested in playing or painting or if you would like to learn more, check Schoology for contact info and email the club for more information.
This Thursday and Friday the Cedar Falls High School Math Club will be holding a bake sale before school. Come down between the Jungle and the Gym to buy some Math Muffins and support the Math Club.
The Spring Esports Season is coming up in a couple of weeks. If you are interested in competing against other High School teams from across the country in some of the most popular games. The details are posted within the Schoology grade level group/class. Get signed up before February 10th.
Are you interested in building sets, creating props, or learning about sound and lights? Join tech for CFHS Drama's spring musical, Spongebob. Contact Ms. Rathe or Ms. Magill with any questions, or join us in the auditorium after school. All students are welcome.
Beginning this week, school counselors will start their 4 year course planning meeting with all juniors and sophomores. During this time your course requests will be verified for next school year. You will receive a pass to see your counselor. Please attend during your assigned time or send Mrs. Betsy Haht or your counselor an email if you can't make it. Appointments will be every 15 minutes so arriving promptly is requested.
Girls who are interested in going out for golf: There will be a mandatory preseason meeting during Tiger Time on Friday, February 14th on the Learning Stairs. If you cannot attend, please communicate with Coach Youngkent BEFORE February 14th.
Follow the Tigers: JV girls' basketball game will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at Cedar Rapids Washington; Sophomore boys' basketball game will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at CFHS.
