A pep bus will be offered for the state volleyball tournament on Monday, November 4. The bus will leave the high school at 10:30 am, and return immediately following the game. See the high school website under Athletics for the link to sign up. The cost is $15.00, plus the cost of a ticket for the game. There must be a minimum of 40 students signed up in order to have a bus. The deadline to sign up is TODAY by 3:00 pm.
A reminder to all students who received an email from Mr. Wood regarding HCC DualEnroll account creation: Today you will be required to attend a meeting in the auditorium during Tiger Time. Please remember your social security number for account creation purposes.
November bus passes are now available for purchase from Mrs. Steffy in the main office.
Attention full-year and fall-only AP students: We are one week away from the AP exam order deadline. Please make sure that you log in to your AP account and change your exam decision from undecided to yes or no.
A reminder about MOVIE NIGHT at CFHS -- This event begins at 7:00 pm THIS Sunday, November 3rd. Admission is $3 for a pizza and popcorn in the Commons. The movie will begin at 7:30 pm. on the Learning Stairs. Bring your water bottles for drink. We will accept cash donation or card payment with $.25 cent surcharge. ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to the Student Food Drive!
Follow the Tigers: State Cross Country meet is taking place in at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge; Varsity Football first round play off game will begin at 7:00 pm at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines; SATURDAY: State Cross Country will continue in Fort Dodge; Sophomore girls' Swimming and Diving MVC Championship will begin at 9:30 am at Cedar Rapids Washington High School; State Cheer will begin at 4:45 pm at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
REMINDERS:
1, 2, 3, 4 our food drive is having a penny War! Penny Wars will start Monday, November 4 and go until Wednesday, November 6. Your room that you will be collecting for will be your Tiger Time. Students can add in money to jars anytime throughout the day, with jars being collected at the end of each day and returned. Please see your Tiger Time teacher for official rules. The Tiger Time with the greatest total will win a pizza, donut, or cookie party of your choice.
Winter Cheer Tryout meeting will be Wednesday, November 6th at 3:15 pm in the high school lobby. Tryouts will be for basketball and wrestling cheer. Actual tryouts will take place on Monday, Nov. 11th at Cedar Heights Elementary School at 4:00pm.
