Do your friends think you are a good storyteller? A passionate debater? Or perhaps a budding actor? Then, our speech meeting is the perfect place to explore your skills. From entertaining performances to making your own short film, we have something for everyone. Come to the auditorium on Friday, September 27th during Tiger Time. You won't regret it.
Details for the 2024 Know Your Constitution Contest have been released. This is a yearly contest sponsored by the Iowa Bar Association that includes an open-book quiz & essay to help students gain an understanding and background in the US Constitution. If you are interested in participating in this year's Know Your Constitution contest, contact your Social Studies teacher or Mrs. Walsh in Teal-1814. Final submissions are due by Tuesday, November 26th.
A reminder that Homecoming t-shirts are now available to order on the high school website. The deadline to order is this Friday, September 27 by 3:00pm. Also, Homecoming dance tickets are now available to purchase before and after school in the Main Office and the Attendance Office after you sign up through the link on Schoology, or on the high school website.
Follow the Tigers: Varsity Boys' Golf Tiger Invitational began at 9:00 am at Pheasant Ridge; JV and Sophomore Volleyball will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:00 pm at Cedar Rapids Jefferson.
REMINDERS:
October 3 is the deadline to have detentions served in order to purchase a Homecoming dance ticket.
Homecoming dance guest forms are due no later than Wednesday, October 2 by 3:30 pm.
