Students: The link to purchase Homecoming dance tickets is now available on the high school website under the Homecoming page, and is also available on Schoology. You may fill out the form, and may purchase the tickets beginning on MONDAY, September 23. Tickets will be available the week of September 23 - September 27 before and after school in the Main office and the Attendance office. The week of September 30 - October 4 tickets can be purchased before and after school in the Main office and the Attendance office, AND during 4th hour in the Commons. Please note: there will NOT be ticket sales after school on Friday, October 4. ALL detentions must be served and Power School fines and fees must be paid in order to purchase a ticket.
The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered on Wednesday, October 23rd. The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is open to sophomores and juniors who sign up. If you'd like to learn more about what the test is and how it can benefit you, please visit the sign up link in Schoology on your calendar. The deadline to sign up and pay is Monday, September 30th. We have a limited number of tests, so sign up will be first come, first serve.
A reminder that tomorrow (Saturday) 525 Swartdogs Robotics will be collecting cans and bottles in the east parking lot at the High School from 9 am - 12 pm. Help clear out your recycling and fund the robotics team travel!
The CFHS Model United Nations team will meet today during Tiger Time in room 734 to select topics for the fall conference in Des Moines!
Representatives from Hawkeye Community College and Concordia University will be here on Tuesday, September 24th and a representative from St. Olaf will be here on Wednesday, September 25th. If you have any interest in meeting with representatives from these colleges, please sign up on Schoology.
A reminder that TODAY counselors will be meeting during Tiger Time with all Sophomores who were unable to make yesterday's meeting.
A reminder to Seniors: Please vote for your 2024 Homecoming Court. The form will be open until TODAY at 3:00 pm. You can find the link on the 2025 Schoology page. You must be logged into your school email to vote.
Follow the Tigers: Sophomore football game will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at Liberty High School; SATURDAY: Sophomore Volleyball tournament will begin at 9:00 am at Liberty High School; Varsity Girls' Diving Invitational will begin at 10:00 am at the Linn-Mar Aquatic Center.
