Attention All Seniors: We want to pronounce your first, middle, and last name correctly during Commencement. Use the Flipgrid link on your class Schoology page (https://flip.com/3bbc0cb0) to record how you would like your name read and pronounced at Commencement. Please be as clear as possible. REMEMBER to include your FIRST, MIDDLE, and LAST name in your recording AND in the video title. Your name recording is due by Friday, May 12.
Some prom reminders: Prom tickets will be sold through next Friday, May 12. Cost is $15 per ticket. Today by 3:25pm is the deadline to have detentions served and Power School fees paid in order to purchase a ticket. Post Prom tickets will be sold today in the auditorium lobby during Power Hour and after school. Cost is $10 per ticket. Cash or check only!
Remember to get your guest form turned in by Wednesday, May 10 by 3:30 pm if you are bringing a guest to prom who is a sophomore or is not a student at CFHS.
Today is the deadline to sign up for the June 10 ACT on the ACT website (www.act.org). Stop in the Counseling office if you have any questions.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' Varsity Tennis Invitational began at 9:00 am at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School in West Des Moines; Girls' Varsity Soccer match will begin at 4:15 pm, followed by the JV1 at 6:00 pm at Iowa City Liberty; Boys' JV1 Soccer match will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 6:45 pm at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex; SATURDAY: Girls' JV Tennis Invitational will begin at 9:00 am at Byrnes Park in Waterloo; IHSMA Large Group Music Festival will begin at 9:00 am at CFHS.
