Congratulations to Cedar Falls Jazz One on their 2nd place finish out of 13 bands at the UNI Tallcorn Jazz Festival this weekend. Outstanding soloists awards went to: Gabby Townsend, Alex Stoner, Colten Thomas, Liam Hendrickson, Kristen Engelhardt, and Isabelle Cuhat. In the Second Band class, Juliana Heinen earned a soloist award. Congrats to all!

Congratulations to Jackson Satterlee on becoming Cedar Falls first individual bowling state champion yesterday at Maple Lanes. Jackson shot games of 266, 290, and 226 to win the championship.

Juniors and Sophomores, on Monday, March 6th, Cedar Falls High School will be hosting an ICAN event all about understanding Financial Aid. This event will be at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium. Parents and students are welcome to attend if they have any questions or are wanting to gain more knowledge about financial aid. Financial Aid is an important part of the college-going process, so this event is important to attend.

Juniors and Sophomores, another event that is coming up for students and parents are the ICR Future Career and College Fair. This event will be hosted on Sunday, March 26 from 12:30 - 3:00 pm. It will be held at the Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids. This event will help students explore career pathways and get the chance to talk with area businesses about growing career opportunities in Eastern Iowa. See the link in Schoology to register.

The Math club will meet today in Room 54 during the 2nd shift of Power Hour. Hope to see you there!

Our Speech Team is preparing for this weekend's Individual Event District Contest, and to get ready they are holding a Pre-Contest-Performance tonight. Events run from 7:00 PM to 9, and entry is through the horseshoe door. A performance schedule can be found outside of room 165. Consider coming to see our students perform and support your friends on the speech team.

We will be hosting the Women's Basketball game tonight at 7:00 PM. All tickets will need to purchased ahead of time via Bound ticketing so please plan accordingly. Come cheer on your Tigers as they try to get their ticket punched to the State tournament.

Follow the Tigers: Girls' Varsity Basketball Regional Finals game against West Des Moines Valley will begin at 7:00 pm.

REMINDERS: If you want to attend prom or walk the stage at graduation commencement, all detentions must be served and fines/fees paid by Friday, May 5. Sophomores may attend prom only as a guest of a junior or senior but must also have all detentions served and fines paid to be eligible for ticket purchase.
