Yesterday our Speech Team was notified that two performance groups were among the small percentage of those across Iowa who will receive all-state honors. This is the first time in recent history that the Tigers have sent groups to all-state in back to back years. Congratulations to Ella Hertz, Midnight Thornton, Dee Dee Benton, and Maggie McCullough for their all-state ensemble acting group and Skylar Zimmerman, Emma Lau, Harrison Kirschenmann and Sophia Woods for their all-state improv group. These eight seniors will represent our school at the IHSSA Large Group All-State Festival in Ames on February 18. If you see them today, make sure to congratulate them for this amazing accomplishment.
