Students, listen up for Homecoming information! The Homecoming dance will take place at Orchard Hill Church from 8:00 - 11:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Dance tickets can now be ordered on the CFHS website. Tickets are $5.00 and can be paid for in the main office once you have ordered them on the website. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. A reminder that you must have all fines, fees and detentions cleared before purchasing a ticket. If you are bringing a guest who is not a CFHS student, you need to fill out a guest form. These can be picked up in the main office or found on the high school website. Guest forms are due no later than Wednesday, September 21 at 3:30pm. Homecoming t-shirts can now be ordered on the high school website and paid for in the main office. The deadline to order a shirt is Thursday, September 15 at 3:00pm. Any tshirt that is not paid for by the deadline will not be ordered.
Powder Puff will be played Sunday, Sept 18th at 7pm. If you are a junior and are interested in playing or coaching we will meet in room 272 during 1st shift power hour. If you are a senior and are interested in playing or coaching we will meet during 2nd shift in room 272. Again, we are not meeting in the auditorium but will meet in room 272.
Students interested in participating in Battle of the Books are invited to the Battle of the Books kick off meeting in the library TODAY during shift 2 of Power Hour. More information about Battle of the Books is posted in your library course on Schoology.
DECA Introduction and new member meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14 in Business Room 275 during SHIFT 1, Mr. Hansel and Business Room 272, SHIFT 2 with Ms. Cuvelier! DECA leadership will present the goals of our Cedar Falls Chapter! Hope to see you there!
The CFHS SAGA (Sexual and Gender Acceptance) is meeting TODAY for our kick off meeting of the year in the auditorium during both shifts of Power Hour! Everyone is welcome to join us and see what fun activities we have planned for this upcoming year. Sophomores can come and are encouraged to attend for both shifts, as we will be taking attendance. We hope to see you all there!

A reminder that Tiger Pals will be meeting today for our kick-off pizza luncheon and 1st official meeting of the year! We will meet during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in Rm 160.
Are you passionate about helping others? Wanting to get involved with our CFHS community? Please join the Volunteer Club in the Library for our first meeting of the year! We will meet during the second shift of Power Hour TODAY!
Follow the Tigers: Sophomore Football will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:15 pm at the UNI Dome; SATURDAY:Sophomore Volleyball tournament will begin at 9:00 am at Cedar Rapids Prairie; Varsity Volleyball will begin at 9:00 am at Osage; Girls' Varsity Swimming and Diving Invitational will begin at 1:00 pm at Linn-Mar Aquatic Center.
Our Tiger Pride commitment for today is focusing on the letter "R" - Remember to respect the building by cleaning up a mess when you see it, whether it is yours or not. Let's have Tiger Pride!
