Are you someone that is interested in helping others? How about mentoring a student from one of our elementary schools or junior highs? Then come join us for an informational meeting about Tiger Pals. We will be going over what our program is all about on Tuesday, September 6th during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in Mrs. Llerena's room, 160. Hope to see you there!
The Art Club will have its first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, Sept 6th during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in Art room #34. We'll be planning activities for this coming schoolyear. Remember - Anyone interested in making Art can join.
Coming up on September 13th, juniors and seniors are invited to attend a College Fair at the McLeod Center. The college fair is an opportunity for students to get the chance to talk with representatives from over 70 different colleges and military branches. It is from 9 am to 10 am or 10 am to 11 am. Students will choose which time frame they will attend and be bussed to UNI. The link to register will be on Schoology. The deadline to sign up is September 9th. Hope to see you there!
Follow the Tigers: Sophomore football will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at Memorial Stadium at Central Middle School in Waterloo; SATURDAY: JV Volleyball tournament will begin at 9:00 am at Osage High School.
Our Tiger Pride commitment for today is focusing on the letter "R"- Remember to respect the building by cleaning up a mess when you see it, whether it is yours or not. Let's have Tiger Pride!
REMINDERS: If you are interested in joining the All Male Dance Team this year, please come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 6th at 7 pm. Meet in the Foods room (Room 117) at the High School. Open to 10th through 12th grade students.
Students wanting to attend Homecoming must take care of all detentions and fines by Wednesday, September 21 in order to purchase a ticket. If you aren't sure of your detention total, please check with Mrs. Skarlis in the main office.
