As we continue to honor Black History Month, we will share a quote by Jesse Owens, a world record-setting Olympic athlete: “We all have dreams. In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.”
JUNIORS and SOPHOMORES! It is a VERY important week! The school counselors will be in English classes for Juniors on Tuesday, February 8th and Social Studies classes for all Sophomores on Wednesday, February 9th to give you more information and have you put your class requests in Power School. If you are a Junior not in an English class or a Sophomore not in a Social Studies class, please let me know asap. Please use the CFHS Department Information Page and BE PREPARED!!
Here's another scholarship opportunity for the Class of 2023. The Horatio Alger Association has shifted its focus this year and is now awarding its scholarship to high school juniors! Check out the Schoology post for more information.

CAPS Robotics & Engineering provides these opportunities and more as you become part of a team that meets daily at a local business host site.
Girls interested in going out for golf this spring: There will be a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, February 15th during the 1st shift of Power Hour in room 148 (Mr. Van Cleve's room).

If interested in learning more about being part of the Men's Rugby team, there will be a informational meeting on February 9th right after school in room 34.
DECA will meet on Tuesday, February 8 in Room 275 during Shift 1 of Power Hour. We will be discussing State competition.
Student Senate would love to help you make this Valentine's Day Special. All proceeds will be going to Eli Flint and his family and he continues to fight his battle against cancer.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' JV 2 Basketball game will begin at 4:15 pm at Holmes Jr High; CFHS Choir will host a Pops Concert beginning at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium.
