Preparing You for Your Purpose: Did you know Oral Communications and CAPS are teaming up to provide experiences and training opportunities to prepare you for your next steps? To learn more on how you can earn Oral communication credit while taking a CAPS experience next school year, see your counselor today!
Just a reminder that students and staff are invited to attend signing day for our student athletes today, Feb. 2nd at 11:25 am. Come out and support the 17 signees we have making their college commitments. GO TIGERS!
JUNIORS and SOPHOMORES! It is time to get ready for scheduling classes for 2022-23. The school counselors will be in English classes for juniors on Tuesday. February 8th and Social Studies classes for sophomores on Wednesday, February 9th to give you more information and have you put your requests in Power School. In the meantime, ALL students need to be exploring their options and have some ideas of what they want to take. Please use the CFHS Department Information Page for a great resource to explore all the classes. Also, be talking to teachers in the different departments if you have questions about classes. School counselors will be meeting individually with each student after next week to finalize your requests. Please be prepared for when we come to your classes with questions. Unfortunately, we do not have time to meet with everyone before next week, so please be prepared for your individual meetings and we will get everything taken care of for your schedule.
Kelly Kobliska will be in the counseling office today to discuss job shadowing. Please stop in during study hall or release.
Any 10th or 11th graders interested in auditioning for Concert Choir for next school year, please sign up on the schedule outside of the choir room. If you have any questions, ask Mr. Kranz or see a current choir member.
Girls Track and Field athletes, we will be holding our pre-season sign up and informational meeting tomorrow, Thursday, February 2 at the start of 1st shift of Power Hour in the auditorium. This is a required meeting to discuss dates, pre-season requirements, and need to knows. We can't wait to see everyone!
Just a reminder that Junior Leadership will meet today in Mrs. Llerena's room (Rm 160) during the 1st shift of Power Hour.
Attention seniors: Friday, February 4th is the LAST day to nominate either yourself or a peer for Senior Class speaker. You can find the nomination form on your Senior class Schoology page. A hard copy must be submitted to Ms. Anderson by the end of the day Friday.
