Today is International Human Rights Day. Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10 every year and commemorates the date when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948. This year, the theme of Human Rights Day is "Equality, Reducing Inequalities, Advancing Human Rights".

If you are planning to attend LUTHER COLLEGE, please check out the Luther College Sustainability Scholarship information on Schoology. The scholarship information session is Wednesday, December 15th from 7-8 pm. To register for the session, please email Mrs. Langan

Just a reminder that Tiger Pals will meet today during the 1st shift of Power Hour in Rm 160.

A representative from the US Army will be here to meet with interested students on  Friday, December 17 at 1:15 pm. Sign up on Schoology.

Follow the Tigers: Girls' JV2 Basketball game will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at CFHS; Boys' Sophomore Basketball game will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at Waterloo East; Girls' Varsity Wrestling tournament will begin at 6:00 pm at Colfax-Mingo High School;

SATURDAY: JV Wrestling tournament will begin at 9:00 am at Union High School; Varsity Wrestling Invitational will begin at 10:00 am at Johnston High School; Boys' Varsity Swimming Invitational will begin at 11:30 am at Holmes Jr. High; Girls' Varsity Bowling tournament will begin at 1:00 pm at Lancer Lanes; Boys' JV Basketball games will begin at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm at Fort Dodge High School.

REMINDERS: 10-12 graders interested in going out for Baseball this Summer, please fill out the information using the link on Schoology to be put on the contact list as we prepare for the 2022 baseball season. After signing up, you will be able to get all of the off-season information as we head into January. Seniors, are you worried about how to pay for college? If you are interested in one of the high demand Hawkeye programs listed on Schoology, you can also use the Last Dollar Scholarship and pay $0!! Yes, $0!! You have to fill out your Hawkeye application and complete the FAFSA. Let your counselor or one of the Americorps workers know if you need help or have questions!
