Powder Puff t-shirts are now available to pick up in the main office.
A reminder that if you would like to order a Homecoming t-shirt, the deadline is today at 12:30 pm. Order on the high school website, and pay in the main office. T-shirts that are not paid for, will NOT be ordered.
A representative from Vassar College will be available via a Zoom meeting on Friday, Oct. 8th at 9:45 am. A representative from Hawaiian Pacific University will be available via a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, October 6th at 2:15 pm and a representative from Drake University will be here in person on Thursday, October 7th at 8:45 am. Interested students can sign up on Schoology.
Once again this year, the Iowa State Bar Association is offering the KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTION contest for Iowa high school students. This annual quiz and essay format asks participants to test and apply their knowledge of our nation’s founding document. The program consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and an essay prompt (all open-book). Finalists are selected from each Iowa house district and finalists in the past have been entered into a drawing to win a week-long trip to Washington DC or a $1000 scholarship. Interested students should see their social studies teacher, or Ms. Lake in room 255. Final submissions are due by the end of the day on Tuesday, November 30.
Follow the Tigers: Sophomore football game will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:15 pm at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids; SATURDAY: Varsity Swimming and Diving meet will begin at 8:50 am at Holmes Jr. High; Boys' and Girls' JV and Varsity Cross Country Invitational will begin at 12:45 pm at Wartburg College in Waverly
