Homecoming will be celebrated the week of October 4. The Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, October 9 at Orchard Hill Church. If you plan to bring a guest who does not attend CFHS, you need to fill out a guest form, which can be picked up from Mrs. Skarlis in the main office. Get this done ASAP as these are due back in the office by Wednesday, October 6 by 3:30 pm.
A reminder that the deadline to order Powder Puff t-shirts is Friday, September 24 by 1:00 pm. These can be ordered on the CFHS website and paid for in the main office.
The last CPR hands on testing date for first semester is Thursday, September 23, which is an "A" Day.. Training is offered from Early Bird through 7th hr., plus 1st shift of Power Hour in the gym. Please bring a printed copy of your online certificate with you. You will not be able to do hands on testing without it.
This Thursday, during the first shift of Power Hour, there will be an informational meeting in Room 213 for students interested in Poetry Out Loud. Poetry Out Loud is a fun and dynamic way to be introduced to new poems. Students select poems to read, then perform these at regional and state competitions for a chance to win monetary prizes. Please join us in Room 213 on Thursday if you are interested!
Do you need volunteer hours? The Pink Ribbon Run, which raises money for breast cancer research, needs volunteers to help out on Saturday, October 2. Contact Mrs. Langan if you are interested.
Be aware, Be inspired, and Be involved. On Wednesday, September 22nd, students of color are invited to a short meeting in the auditorium at 11:00 am. Information will be shared about several multicultural organizations and opportunities at CFHS along with how to get involved. Keep an eye out for invites coming from the Counseling office. See you there!
Listen up Junior Leadership! If you are planning on using Power Hour as your time to get your decorations prepared for decorating our hallway for Homecoming, please come today during the 1st shift of Power Hour in room 160. This is not a mandatory meeting, it's only for those who want to prepare their decorations during this time.
The CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet during the first shift of Power Hour today in Mr. Wilkinson’s room in the portable. All students are welcome to attend.
A representative from the University of Wisconsin, Madison will be available to interested students via a Zoom meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 28th at 1:15 pm. Interested students can sign up through Schoology.
Follow the Tigers: Boys' Varsity Golf meet will begin at 3:15 pm at The Meadows Golf Course in Dubuque; Sophomore and JV Volleyball Quad will begin at 6:00 pm at Dike-New Hartford High School.
