Are you a Junior or Senior? Do you like to have fun? Are you looking to be a leader? Are you interested in working with kids? Then Tiger Pals might be right for you! We will be having our first meeting of this year on Wednesday, September 8th during the 1st shift of Power Hour in room 160, Mrs. Llerena’s room. If you are interested and did NOT attend the initial meeting this Spring, please reach out to Mrs. Llerena to find out more information about the program to see if this is a fit for you. If you DID attend the meeting this Spring and you are still interested in participating, please make sure to make it this Wednesday. Can’t wait to get you set up with your LIL Tiger Pal!
The first DECA meeting will be tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 8, during shift 1 of Power Hour in room 275.
The deadline to sign up for the COLLEGE FAIR on Tuesday, September 14th for juniors and seniors is FRIDAY, September 10th. You will NOT want to miss this opportunity to visit with over 70 representatives from colleges, military and other agencies. Sign up on the Class Schoology page for 1st shift, which is during period 2 and 3 OR sign up for the 2nd shift which will be during periods 3 and 4. Students will be BUSSED to the McCleod Center. Sign up NOW!!
SENIORS: The CFHS Counselors will be meeting with ALL Seniors ( A-L) on Thursday, September 9th during 1st shift of Power Hour AND Seniors (M-Z) Friday, September 10th during 2nd shift of Power Hour. Important information will be shared such as how to sign up for your cap and gown, when to apply for colleges and what if I don't know what I want to do after high school. Join us!!
Follow the Tigers: Boys' Varsity Golf meet will begin at 1:00 pm at Gates Golf Course in Waterloo; Sophomore and JV Volleyball matches will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:00 pm at CFHS; JV and Varsity Swimming and Diving meet will begin at 6:00 pm at Linn-Mar in Marion.
