CLASS OF 2021: Please nominate members of your class for CLASS SPEAKER at commencement! You are welcome to nominate yourself as well! The form has been attached to the Class of 2021 Schoology Page. We do need ALL NOMINATIONS HAND DELIVERED TO MS. ANDERSON in Room 214 by Thursday, February 25 at 3:00 p.m. NO DIGITAL COPIES ACCEPTED. (Virtual Students please email Ms. Anderson for accommodations for this!).
The High School Counselors will be meeting with VIRTUAL Juniors on Thursday, February 11th, and VIRTUAL Sophomores on Friday, February 12th. Please see your email for specific times. See you then!!
JUNIORS: The counselors loved visiting with all of you yesterday. Thank you for your great attention! Please be working on your 2021-22 schedule and entering your classes in Power School by February 23rd. We will hold a makeup session on Friday during 2nd hour for juniors who were absent on Tuesday.
Sophomores: The high school counselors will be in Social Studies classes today for all of the sophomores to share 2021-22 Scheduling/Registration presentations. Please look over the CFHS Course Information webpage that was shared on Schoology and sent by email. Please be prepared. Make sure you have your Chromebook charged up and ready to go to enter your courses in PowerSchool. If you don't have a Social Studies class, let us know!
Girls interested in going out for tennis this spring should plan on joining a Zoom meeting with Coach Sagers on Tuesday, February 16. Please check out the Women's Tennis website for more information.
Follow the Tigers: Varsity Wrestling District Duals meet will begin at 6:00 pm at Bettendorf High School.
REMINDERS: Girls interested in going out for golf this season: We will be having a MANDATORY informational meeting on Monday, February 15th during 2nd shift of Power Hour in room 160 (Spanish classroom by library). You will learn about the season and have opportunities to look at apparel.
For anyone interested in playing Men’s Tennis during the 2021 season, there will be a meeting after school at 3:15 PM, in Room 106 on Thursday, February 11. Please be at the meeting so that Coach Suiter can give you information concerning the spring tennis schedule, practice schedule, ordering t-shirts, and answer any questions you may have about the program. Again, the Men’s Tennis meeting will be at 3:15 PM, in Room 106 on Thursday, February 11.
The Iowa National Guard is offering a free hunter safety course to interested students over the age of 16 on February 20th from 9 Am to 5 PM at the UNI ROTC facilities.
