Seniors, if you need help with the FAFSA, John Holland from ICAN is having virtual appointments from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm on November 11 just for Cedar Falls HS students and parents! Sophomore boys - If you are interested in going out for basketball this year, you and your parents are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, November 10 at 5:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. Practice starts Monday, November 16.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' Varsity Swimming Regionals will begin at 12:00 pm in Dubuque.
REMINDERS: The early National Letter of Intent signing day is Wednesday, November 11. We will have a ceremony in the gym during Power Hour on that day. If you are a student athlete and have received a scholarship to a college, please stop and see Mrs Carter in the main office and pick up a form that needs to be filled out by Monday, November 9.Sign up for the ASVAB! ASVAB stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. The ASVAB will be offered on November 20th at 8:45 a.m. in the library. It will take about 90 minutes and you will need your Google Chromebook. Students interested in the military should take the ASVAB. It is also worthwhile for students to take the ASVAB if they are uncertain about their future plans.
Anyone who is interested in playing Girls' Soccer this Spring there is a player-only interest meeting Friday Nov. 20th at 3:30pm in Ms. Anderson's Classroom, Rm 214 at the High School. Interested 9th grade girls can take the activity bus to the high school. Open Gyms for Girls Soccer start Nov. 30th and will be every Monday night 7:30-8:30pm until March 15th. There is a bonus open gym on Dec. 4th from 7:30-8:30pm. Open Weight Room for Girls Soccer starts Dec. 1st and repeats every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:10-5:00pm until March 15th.Contact Coach Place with questions (alexplace4@gmail.com)
