The following college representatives will be available to speak with interested students on Tuesday, Oct. 13: University of Alabama at 2:15 pm via Zoom; Michigan Tech University at 10:40 am via Zoom; Northwest Iowa Community College at 10:30 am in person. Sign up through Schoology.

Each day this week, Sophomore leadership has a food drive announcement to share with you! Today's food drive item is peanut butter! Drop by the Counseling office tomorrow with those food donations to help our local food bank! As always, free will donations are appreciated.

Listen up Junior Leadership! We will be meeting to talk about our week of the Food Drive! We need your participation to come up with ideas and to let you know what our week will be all about. Please, make sure to join us Tuesday, October 13th during first shift of Power Hour. This time we will be meeting in Mrs. Llerena's room, 160. Hope to see you there!

Thursday, October 15th is the last day to drop an extra class without a penalty. Students need to see their counselor to determine if they have enough classes and to fill out paperwork and get teacher and parent signature.

Interested in learning more about our constitution and how it can be applied to hypothetical situations? The details for this year's Know Your Constitution Contest sponsored by the Iowa Bar Association are now available. This year's prize includes five $1000 scholarships and is open to any students grades 9-12. Please contact your Social Studies teacher or Ms. Lake in room 255 for more information. Completed tests and essays will be due January 6th by 3:30 pm.

Who is going to bring in the most money for $1.00 Wednesday to benefit the Food Drive? Will it be the Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors or Staff? Please bring $1.00 on Wednesday to the Counseling office or the main office and put your $1.00 in the bucket for your class. We will count the money at the end of the day. Good luck!

The CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) during the 1st shift of Power Hour in Mr. Wilkinson's classroom in the portable. All students are welcome to attend.

Sophomore boys' basketball: There will be a signup meeting during the 1st shift of Power Hour on Wednesday, October 14th in Coach Dyvig's room (room 259).

Follow the Tigers: Sophomore Volleyball tournament will begin at 5:00 pm at Columbus High School in Waterloo; JV Volleyball Invitational will begin at 5:00 pm at Cedar Rapids Washington
