Students: If you have a Government textbook from last semester, please return it to the library. Thank you.Womens' Soccer: there will be player and parent information meeting on Monday, March 9th in the high school cafeteria at 6:00pm. Please plan ahead as this is a required event. Contact Coach Place with questions at alexplace4@gmail.comSoftball players: The workout day for Pitchers & Catchers has been changed to Monday mornings from 7:30-8:45 at Peet Jr. High. Our 1st meeting day will be Monday, February 17th. Feel free to contact Coach Chidester with questions or concerns.
Juniors and Sophomores, it is that time of year again when you need to be thinking about what classes you want to sign up to take for next year!! School Counselors will be in JUNIOR English classes on Tuesday, February 11th and SOPHOMORE Social Studies classes on Wednesday, February 12th to give you all the information you need. Make sure you have your Chromebook charged up and ready to log into Power School! Right now, what you need to do is check out the 2020-21 Course Offerings and Awesome Tables that are linked on Schoology, so you have some ideas about ALL of the AWESOME courses we offer! Also, keep talking to your teachers, parents, mentors, and other students who can help you decide. In the long run, remember it is YOUR future and YOUR graduation story so make sure you choose classes that fit what YOU need!!
Reminder: there will be an Archery meeting today during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in the weight room. If you cannot attend the meeting, please contact Mr. Elser.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' JV basketball game will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at Western Dubuque; Boys' Sophomore basketball game will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at CFHS;
SATURDAY: Speech state contest will begin at 8:00 am at Dubuque Senior; Sophomore wrestling MVC tournament will begin at 9:30 am at Iowa City High; Boys' Varsity Swimming will begin at 12:00 pm at Marshalltown YMCA; Girls' JV basketball game will begin at 3:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 4:30 pm at CFHS; Boys' Sophomore basketball game will begin at 3:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 4:30 pm at Iowa City West; The Jazz Show will begin at 7:00 pm in the auditorium.
REMINDERS: Girls' Tennis: We will be having our student-athlete and parent meeting in the high school cafeteria on Monday, February 10th at 7pm. All 9th - 12th grade girls interested in tennis should plan to attend with a parent. This will be an informational meeting to meet coaches and find out more about our upcoming high school tennis season and officially sign up. We are looking forward to meeting you.

Complete the peer or self nomination. Print it out and submit it to Ms. Heidi Anderson in Room 214 NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13!
