Reminder: Today all students will meet with their Power Hour Advisories to work on Graduation Stories. Students will need their chromebooks fully charged. As always, your attendance is required! If you miss this session, you will be required to attend a make-up session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28th in the auditorium for 40 minutes instead of the original 30 minute session, which will only allow you 20 minutes to eat lunch. It is highly recommended that you attend the required session today to avoid these inconveniences.
Juniors and Sophomores: Don't forget to come to the Career and College Planning Meeting tonight at 5:30 p.m. We encourage STUDENTS and PARENTS to attend this meeting together! Remember that representatives from our very own CFHS elective departments will also be available starting at 5:00 p.m. to showcase their course offerings for the 2020-21 school year. This is a great opportunity to get information that will help you decide what classes to take for the 2020-21 school year. The representatives will also be available after the meeting. Please join us for a very worthwhile evening!!
There will be a DECA Meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28th during shift 1 of Power Hour in room 270. We will be discussing the state conference and signing up for competition.
The CFHS Speech team had a great day at Districts on Saturday! We took 11 events, and 8 of them, including our two original pieces are advancing to State on February 8th! Way to go Speech! If you'd like to see some of these wonderful events, come to the Speech Showcase on Friday, January 31st at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium! It's only $4 for students and $5 for adults. Come support CFHS Speech!
Follow the Tigers: Boys' Sophomore basketball game against Cedar Rapids Xavier will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:30 pm at CFHS.
