The Environmental Awareness Team challenge of the day, asks you to think about the holiday decor you displayed this season. We hope that you continue to use it year after year rather than simply throwing it away. This reduces the amount of garbage that will go to the land fill at a time where so much is already being sent there. If it is time to get new decorations, remember to offer some to a thrift store, recycle as much material as possible and if you buy new lights, switch to new more energy efficient LED lighting. Thanks for lessening your environmental footprint this holiday season.
Mark your calendars for the Spaghetti Dinner hosted by the CFHS Competition Cheer Team on Sunday, January 5 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Amvets Post 49. Spaghetti, salad and bread for $5.00! Come support the cheerleaders!
Congratulations to the following students who were selected as finalists in the State of Iowa's Know Your Constitution Contest - Madeline Castings, Vedanti Sankpal, Jacob Smothers, Olivia Smothers, and Emma Yarrow. They will be recognized at an awards luncheon in West Des Moines on January 13th. Cedar Falls High School represents five of the 100 students selected in the state. Congratulations!

You can find that on the Cedar Falls High School Counseling website. Go to College and Career, Financial Aid and then Scholarships. More detailed directions will be on Schoology!
Follow the Tigers: JV and Varsity Wrestling meets will begin at 6:15 pm at CFHS; the Choir concert will begin 7:30 pm in the Auditorium.
