It’s Girls State Volleyball Tournament time - and if you are planning on attending next week you need to listen to the following special announcement: The first round state tournament game for the Tigers will be held on Tuesday, November 12th at Noon when the Tigers take on Waukee. Students planning on attending need to have your parents complete an on-line form that has been sent to their email. This form has information on release and a permission form if you choose to ride the pep bus. In order to be considered for release or the pep bus this form must be completed by your guardian and/or parent by Monday, November 11th at 3:00 p.m. Students not following this procedure will be considered unexcused. A pep bus will be provided for interested students. Students are encouraged and asked to sign up on-line on the Cedar Falls High School webpage. (Click on “Athletics”) Pep Bus cost will be $6.00 total. We will not have game tickets available here at the high school. You will either have to purchase your ticket at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids or purchase your ticket through Ticketmaster.com. We do need a minimum number of students to sign up in order to have a pep bus. The pep bus would leave at 10:15 a.m. and return right after the match. You must sign up by 3:15 p.m. on Monday. State VB t-shirts will also be available for all Tiger fans. You will be able to order the t-shirts on-line at the Cedar Falls High School web page. (Click on “Athletics”) Shirts must be ordered and paid for by 1:00 pm TODAY (Thursday, Nov 7) or your t-shirt will not be ordered. T-shirts are $10 for S, M, L, XL and $12 for XXL, and $13 for XXXL.
