Thank you to all who attended volleyball game on Tuesday night. The event raised $476 for our food drive which will provide 1,904 meals! Congratulations to the FACULTY team for their championship win!
Active Minds group will meet TODAY during 2nd shift Power Hour in room 162. Please join us to raise awareness of mental health issues and break the stigma of reaching out and getting help.
It's getting cold outside! Do you have any spare winter gear, warm clothes, or blankets? Stop by the counseling office and donate them. All donations will be taken by a student to homeless shelters around the area! We will be taking donations until this Friday, October 25th.
A representative from Drake University will be here tomorrow (Friday) at 12:30 pm. Interested students should sign up in the Counseling office or through Schoology.
Please join us on Monday, October 28th at CFHS for a very interesting and helpful evening. Let's Talk Mental Health: A Community Conversation will help you understand one family's journey dealing with mental health issues. Joan Becker will share the story of her son and how their family dealt with his mental illness. The keynote will start at 6:00 p.m. but join us at 5:30 p.m. to walk around and visit with community and school organization and agencies who will help you learn about what kinds of support is available for different needs. There will also be smaller sessions after the keynote focusing on suicide prevention, teen addiction and anxiety and a few others. Everyone is welcome!
Follow the Tigers: Girls' Varsity Cross Country Regional meet will begin at 3:00 pm, followed by the Boys' Varsity District meet at 4:00 pm, both at Birdsall Park.
