Announcements: Wednesday, October 23, 2019 A Day

Please join us on Monday, October 28th at CFHS for a very interesting and helpful evening. Let's Talk Mental Health: A Community Conversation will help you understand one family's journey dealing with mental health issues. Joan Becker will share the story of her son and how their family dealt with his mental illness. The keynote will start at 6:00 p.m. but join us at 5:30 p.m. to walk around and visit with community and school organization and agencies who will help you learn about what kinds of support is available for different needs. There will also be smaller sessions after the keynote focusing on suicide prevention, teen addiction and anxiety and a few others. Bring your parents and friends! We look forward to seeing you all there!

Speech students: Please check Schoology for the rehearsal schedule. If you have any questions, or cannot attend a rehearsal, please email Ms. Bettag.

All members of the high school Bowling team need to see Coach Baker to sign a card for Coach Walker by the end of the day on Thursday, October 24th.

Do you love brownies, cookies, and sweets? Then, please plan on stopping by at our bake sale this Thursday and Friday morning in the Tiger's Den! All of the proceeds goes towards the Food Drive.

Active Minds group is meeting Thursday, October 24th during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in room 162. Please join us to raise awareness of mental health issues and break the stigma of reaching out and getting help.

A representative from the National Guard will be here tomorrow (Thursday) at 9:40 am and a representative from Bethel University will also be here on Thursday at 1:15 pm. Sign up in Counseling or Schoology.

It's getting cold outside! Do you have any spare winter gear, warm clothes, or blankets? Stop by the Counseling office and donate them. All donations will be taken by a student to homeless shelters around the area! We will be taking donations until next Friday, October 25th.
