Today is Mental Health Awareness Day so thank you to everyone wearing green! Please join us during 2nd shift Power Hour for Active Minds meeting in room 162. Let's break the stigma and talk about mental health issues!
So you've registered for the October 16th PSAT and are wondering "What next?" Make sure to stop by the Counseling office to pick up your Student Guide and Practice Test. There will also be study sessions today and tomorrow during PowerHour in the counseling office for anyone interested. Monday, October 14th there will be a presentation during PowerHour in the Auditorium. Plan to attend either first or second shift of this presentation. We will cover what to expect on test day, where to be, and how to plan for success!
Calling all seniors! It is the FAFSA season. Do you know what that is, or need a little extra help? Good news! John Holland will be available to help with all your questions!! He will be at CFHS next Monday, October 14th from 3-7pm in room 106! You do need an appointment, but you can find the link on Schoology or in your email!!
The CF FCA and Big House will host 5th Quarter tomorrow after the varsity home football game at the NinjaU Gym from 9:30 to 11:30 pm. The cost will be $7 at the door and a waiver must be completed to participate. Waivers may be filled out at ninjau.com. Pizza and water will be provided. All students are welcome to attend. Please see Mr. Wilkinson for any questions.
Follow the Tigers: Boys' and Girls' Cross Country MVC Super meet will begin at 3:30 pm at Iowa City Kickers Soccer Club; Girls' JV and Varsity Swimming and Diving meet will begin at 6:00 pm at Waterloo Central.
REMINDERS: Have you ever considered travelling abroad, or think it would be exciting to be a Foreign Exchange Student? The Cedar Falls Rotary offers this opportunity and is holding informational meetings during power hour on Wednesday, October 9th and next Tuesday October 15th.
