Have you ever considered traveling abroad, or think it would be exciting to be a Foreign Exchange Student? The Cedar Falls Rotary offers this opportunity and is holding informational meetings during power hour on Wednesday, October 9th and next Tuesday October 15th. Come listen and see if this opportunity would be right for you. Let Mrs. Langan know if you are interested!!
Any student interested in going out for bowling must attend the signup meeting during 2nd shift of Power Hour in room 251 on Thursday, October 10th. If you cannot attend, you must contact Coach Baker.
October is Mental Health Awareness Month. Please join us on Thursday, October 10th and wear GREEN! GREEN is the color for mental health awareness.
A representative from Brown University in Rhode Island will be here tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9:40 am. Sign up in Counseling or through Schoology.
Follow the Tigers: Sophomore and JV Volleyball will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:00 pm at CFHS.
REMINDERS: UNI's "Be a Teacher for a Day" event is coming up, Friday, October 11th. The day will give those interested in becoming an educator a chance to learn more about our outstanding teacher education program. This day includes an opportunity to speak with faculty about your academic interests, time to talk with current UNI students, a group session concerning admission requirements, financing your college education, and living on campus, an optional campus tour, and lunch at one of our dining centers.
