Reminder: Homecoming Dance Guest forms are due TODAY by 3:30 pm in the main office!

Reminder that today is the last day to vote for your 2019 Homecoming King and Queen. The link is on your class schoology page.

UNI's "Be a Teacher for a Day" event is coming up on Friday, October 11th. The day will give those interested in becoming an educator a chance to learn more about our outstanding teacher education program. This day includes an opportunity to speak with faculty about your academic interests, time to talk with current UNI students, a group session concerning admission requirements, financing your college education, and living on campus, an optional campus tour, and lunch at one of our dining centers. Do you love to read? Are you competitive? Then consider joining the Cedar Falls High School Battle of the Books team. If you are interested, please join Ms. Bettle in Room 215 at 7:45am on Friday, September 27th for more information!

The Lip Sync Battle will happen Thursday during Power Hour Shift 2. Please sign up for your band or as a singer in Schoology. We need a great audience as well!

A representative from Iowa Central Community College will be here Thursday, Oct. 3rd at 8:45 am and a representative from the University of Northern Iowa will be here Friday, October 4 at 10:30 am to speak with interested students. Sign up in Counseling or through Schoology.

Are you interested in participating in Speech? Have you participated before and want to know when we start? Do you have no clue what Speech is but want to know? If you answered yes to any of these questions, come to the informational meeting during 2nd shift Power Hour in room 213 on Friday. If you can't make it but still want the information, email Ms. Bettag!

Come to the Book Club meeting TODAY during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in the Library if you are interested in joining!

Are you concerned about climate change and wanting to join the global climate movement? This Thursday, during the second shift of Power Hour, join the global climate movement as we walk out to the field to demand stronger action to stop climate change from becoming irreversible. Bring attention to climate change, demand action, and start making a change at our school by participating in a walkout at the football field during second shift of Power Hour tomorrow.
