Are you interested in strategy games? Then join the Chess club! They will have their first meeting in Room 252 on Tuesday, September 24th, 2nd shift of Power Hour. You are encouraged to bring your own chess set (if you have one), but this is not required. See you there!
Calling all students interested in math competitions: The CFHS Math Team is starting once again for the 2019-2020 season. We will meet on Tuesday, September 24th during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in Room 51 to discuss the upcoming October competition, play math games, and try our hand at some challenging problems. Be there or be a regular quadrilateral! Questions? Please contact Ms. Kirkpatrick.
Saga will meet in Room 106 today during Power Hour. We hope to see you there!
DECA will meet today during shift 1 of Power Hour in Room 270 of the Business Department. We will be discussing the Fall Leadership Conference coming up on Oct. 6 & 7.
Come join Volunteer Club in the counselor's office today during the 1st shift of power hour! We are open to everyone with a desire to help others.
Picture re-take day is Monday, September 23. If you are a sophomore or junior who did not have your picture taken at registration days in August, you are required to have your picture taken on Monday. There are a limited number of picture order forms in the main office, otherwise pictures can also be ordered online with Lifetouch. Ordering pictures is not required.
Follow the Tigers: The Sophomore Football game will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:15 pm at Bettendorf High School; Girls' Varsity Swimming Invitational will begin at 5:00 pm at Fort Dodge High School; SATURDAY: The Varsity Volleyball tournament will begin at 9:00 am at Waterloo West High School; Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving Invitational will begin at 10:00 am at Fort Dodge High School. Girls' Varsity Diving meet will begin at 11:00 am at Linn-Mar High School.
