We have a reminder regarding the library during power hour: The library is a reserved space for quiet study. Please do not sit more than four to a table and the noise level is expected to stay at a low level. If you want to talk with friends or just "hang out," we ask that you find a classroom setting. Thank you!
Football players: Please stop by the main office to pick up your clothing order if you haven't already done so.
If you are interested in joining the Science Club we will be meeting today in room 136 during the second shift of Power Hour to discuss our plans for the year.
Are you a junior that is interested in creating and helping out your school and community? Then, come join us for Junior Leadership with Mrs. Chiles and Mrs. Llerena. Please, make sure to come to our first meeting on Friday, September 6th, 2nd shift of Power Hour in room 160. See you there!
A representative from Creighton University will be here Monday, September 9th to speak with interested students. Sign up in Counseling or through Schoology.
Are you interested in a job shadow experience to explore careers? There is no better way to solidify your graduation story than confirm your career interest or rule it out. This is a great opportunity for you to be able to spend a few hours, a 1/2 or a full day with a professional in the Cedar Valley learning what they do in their jobs. Mr. Wood will be holding job shadow signs up TODAY,1st shift of Power Hour in the auditorium. Those who are in Band interested in participating may show up following practice and we will get you signed up at the start of 2nd shift. Please bring a Chromebook charged and ready to use. The meeting will take less than 15 minutes for those on time. If you miss today, we will hold an additional sign up next Monday.
Class of 2020 Seniors: If your last name starts with A-K you will need to report to the auditorium on Thursday and if your last name starts with L-Z you will need to report on Friday during 1st shift power hour to the auditorium for a very important meeting and to get measured for your cap and gown! Attendance will be taken and this is a mandatory meeting. See you there!!
Juniors and Seniors: The College Fair is next Tuesday, September 10th! Please sign up by Friday so we have an accurate count for the buses. This is such a great opportunity and will help you in your search for the right option for after high school! See the information on Schoology or in your email. YOU NEED TO SIGN UP ASAP!!!
Seniors: Remember to put stop by the Senior hand wall today to paint your hand print to represent the class of 2020! It is located outside on the North side of the building near the track.
