Attention Sophomores and Juniors: If your detentions are not made up by the end of the year you will not have release privileges at the start of the 2019-2020 school year. You will also be placed in an assigned study hall for the first 9 weeks. Connect with your administrator for number of detentions and a plan moving forward.
Womens' Swimming: There will be a meeting tomorrow, Thursday, May 30th at 6:15 pm in the Holmes Jr. High cafeteria.
The library will let you take home books for the summer! Come find your summer reading books.
Are you interested in being involved in a group that makes a huge difference at the high school? Please read your email or Schoology for information about MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention). Fill out the application by Friday, May 31st! That is only 3 days away so do it now if you are interested. The MVP leaders work with the sophomores in many different ways to make our school a safe and accepting place for all students. MVP leaders also lead discussions in Health that have to do with relationships and gender violence. Thank you for your consideration to join this very important group!
Follow the Tigers: Girls' State Golf is taking place in Marshalltown; Girls' Varsity Soccer Regionals will take place at Cedar Rapids Prairie; Girls' State Tennis will take place in Bettendorf; JV and Varsity Softball will begin at 4:00 pm in Charles City; Sophomore Baseball will begin at 5:00 pm at Robinson-Dresser.
