No Weight Room after school this week.

No Olympic watch party in Cooper's room today.
8th Grade Boys Basketball players who have not turned in their uniforms should do so to your coach or Mr. Meister immediately.
Students needing to purchase a bus pass for March can do so at the lunch window before school or during all three lunch shifts. Bus passes for March are $40 for a two way pass, $20 for a one way pass, and $1.25 for single ride passes. See Mrs. Davis with questions.
The Peet Junior High Variety Show is this Friday at 7pm, and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are on sale now before school in the entryway, and at the door the night of the shows. All tickets are $6. Student tickets are available for the Saturday 2pm show for only $2. The show will feature some of Peet junior high's greatest talents, music, comedy, and entertainment, as well as some great snacks during intermission. Bring a friend and come join us, you won't want to miss it!
Anyone interested in ordering a yearbook please see Mrs. Davis at the lunch window. Yearbooks are $15 and need to be ordered by March 31 if you want one for the 2021-22 school year.

Today black history month highlight is: Richard Wright
Richard Wright was an African American writer and poet who published his first short story at the age of 16. Later, he found employment with the Federal Writers' Project and received critical acclaim for Uncle Tom's Children, a collection of four stories. He is well-known for his 1940 bestseller Native Son and his 1945 autobiography, Black Boy.
